Example Scavenger Hunts

1. Internet Use: Visit this site (through EBSCO Host) to answer the following question:

¯    By typing "Online" in the first field and "Use" in the second field, and "Teens" in the third field

¯    Click on the first article TEEN CHATTER, and then click on full text.

Read the opening paragraph.  Then answer the following.

According to a poll conducted of teens (ages 12 -17).  How many hours do teens in the New York area spend online per week? _______________

Perform another Search for "Online," and "Use."  List the article here and tell why you chose it.

to find a scavenger hunt that you may use in your classroom. (20 min - 30 min.)

and click on the first link to unwrap a mummy bundle.

Then answer how many pounds of cotton was wrapped around the cotton king?
